If it is UniFi Protect, usually yes. We will audit the configuration, document it, and correct what needs correcting. Non-UniFi systems generally cannot be adopted onto the platform, and we will tell you that up front rather than after we have a deposit.
Only if a camera is specified and placed for that job. A general-purpose camera pointed at a driveway captures a vehicle, not a plate. Plate capture needs the right lens, the right angle, and the right lighting, and it is a separate camera in almost every install.
