AI readiness, team training and AI-use policy

You don't need more AI tools. You need to know what to do with them.

AI can now set up a lot of routine office and IT work on its own. The hard part is no longer building it. It is deciding what is worth doing first, keeping customer and company data out of the wrong places, and getting the whole team using it the same way. We run a business on these tools every day, and we help Middle Tennessee shops, contractors and organizations do the same, safely, in plain English.

Where to start

Most owners we talk to have tried a chatbot, seen what it can do, and have no time to figure out the rest. Pick the step that fits. Each one leads naturally to the next, and none of them locks you in.

Free talk for your group

A 60 to 90 minute session for a chamber, trade group, church or staff meeting.

  • What AI can and cannot do for a business your size today
  • A live look at how we run our own email, scheduling and marketing with it
  • The data mistakes to avoid
  • No charge

AI & security readiness assessment

A half day on site walking your processes, network and accounts.

  • Your top five uses for AI, ranked by hours saved
  • Where customer and company data lives today, and the risks
  • Gaps in your AI-use rules and account security
  • A 90-day plan, then we walk it with you

Team AI workshop

Hands-on training for teams of about 5 to 30, on the tools you already pay for.

  • General use first, then tactics for each role
  • A shared library of ready-made instructions your admin hands out to everyone
  • A simple weekly practice schedule
  • Recorded so new hires can catch up

AI support with managed IT

An add-on for clients on our managed service plans.

  • Monthly office hours for questions
  • New shared instructions built as your needs change
  • AI-use policy kept current
  • A quarterly review of what is working

AI-use rules for shops that handle controlled data

If your drawings, customer files or client records fall under ITAR, CUI, HIPAA or a grant security clause, the question is not whether your people use AI. They already do. The question is where your data goes when they do. We are an ITAR-registered machine shop ourselves, so we write these rules from the shop floor.

Written policy
What can go into which AI tools, what never can, who approves new tools, and what to do if something slips. Short enough that people actually read it.
Tool settings
Business accounts instead of personal ones, data-sharing and training settings turned off where the vendor allows, and sign-in tied to your Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace accounts.
Training
Real examples from your own work of what is safe to paste and what is not.
Fits your compliance work
Lines up with the NIST, CMMC and grant security work we already do, so it is one program, not two.

Never send controlled drawings or data through this website.

Common questions

Before you call

We are not a tech company. Is this for us?

Especially for you. The businesses that get the most out of this are the busy ones that have not had time to look up: machine shops, contractors, offices and nonprofits. We start from your day, not from the software.

Which AI tools do you train on?

The ones you already pay for or are about to. Most of our clients use Claude, ChatGPT or Microsoft 365 Copilot. We are not paid by any AI vendor, so we recommend what fits your work and your data rules.

Will you sell us software or lock us into you?

No. You buy any licenses directly, the accounts are in your name, and the instructions and documents we create are yours. The goal is a team that can run it without us.

What does it cost?

The talk is free. The assessment is a fixed fee quoted after a free call. Workshops are quoted per session, and AI support is a monthly add-on for managed IT clients. Small nonprofits serving people in need may qualify for free help through the Grit & Pearl Foundation, an independent nonprofit.

Is our data safe when staff use AI?

It depends on the tool, the account type and the settings, which is exactly what we check. Every engagement includes written rules on what never goes into an AI tool and business-account settings that keep your data out of vendor training where the vendor allows it.

Tell us what is eating your week

A short call is enough to tell whether AI will actually help, and where to start. If it will not, we will tell you that too.
