Black Pearl Automation designs, installs, and manages complete UniFi systems for businesses and homes across Middle Tennessee — WiFi and switching, VoIP phones, access control, and security cameras, all running on one interface with no per-device licensing fees.
Most buildings end up with four vendors, four apps, and four bills. We replace that with a single UniFi system — designed, cabled, configured, and supported by us.
Wall-to-wall wireless that actually holds a signal, built on a properly sized gateway and PoE switching backbone.
Business phones that plug into the same network we build — no separate phone vendor, no per-seat contract creep.
Replace rekeying and lost fobs with credentials you can revoke from your phone in seconds.
High-resolution coverage recorded locally on your own NVR — no monthly cloud storage bill, no footage held hostage.
The rest of the UniFi ecosystem, wired into the same platform as everything else.
Installation is the easy part. Keeping it healthy for the next five years is the job we actually do.
Don't see what you need? If Ubiquiti makes it — UniFi, UISP, or airMAX — we can spec it, install it, and support it. Ask us.
Traditional commercial systems bury the real cost in recurring fees: per-camera cloud storage, per-door licensing, per-seat phone plans, per-access-point management subscriptions. Five years in, you've paid for the system three times over and you still don't own your own network.
UniFi flips that. You buy the hardware once. Management software is included. Video records to a device in your building. Access credentials live on your own controller. And every piece — the WiFi, the phones, the cameras, the doors — shows up in one interface instead of four.
Our job is making sure it's designed correctly from day one, because a UniFi system installed badly is just as frustrating as anything else installed badly.
Network health, live camera feeds, door activity, and call logs in a single console — on desktop or your phone.
Own your hardware and your data. You pay for internet, phone lines, and whatever support plan you choose — not for permission to use equipment you already bought.
Add an access point, a door, or a camera without redesigning the system or renegotiating a contract.
Warehouses, medical offices, retail, restaurants, multi-tenant buildings, and large homes — each gets a design that fits how the space is actually used.
A clear process, a fixed quote, and no surprise change orders halfway through the ceiling tiles.
We walk the building, measure coverage, check existing cabling, and ask what's actually been failing you.
You get a diagram, an equipment list, and one number — not a vague hourly estimate.
Structured cabling, labeled terminations, tidy racks, and cutover scheduled around your business hours.
We train your team, hand over documentation, and monitor the system so problems get fixed before you notice them.
No. Most clients start with one piece — usually WiFi or cameras — and add doors, phones, or signage later. Because it's all the same platform, adding a system later doesn't mean a second controller, a second app, or a second cabling project.
Not for the UniFi software or for video storage — recording is local to your NVR and management is included with the hardware. The only recurring costs are things that are inherently recurring: your internet service, phone numbers and calling minutes for VoIP, and whatever level of ongoing support plan you choose with us.
Yes, and we do it often. We'll audit what's there, document it, correct the configuration issues we find, and either fix the existing design or tell you honestly what needs to be replaced.
We do. Cat6/Cat6a runs, fiber between buildings or IDFs, rack and patch panel work, terminations, testing, and labeling. A network is only as good as the cable underneath it, and this is where most cheap installs fall apart.
You get a secure login that works from your phone or any browser — live views, recorded footage, door activity, and the ability to unlock a door or revoke a credential remotely. Footage stays on your equipment; you're not streaming it to a third party's servers.
Yes. Larger homes, properties with outbuildings or shops, and anyone who wants real coverage instead of a mesh kit from a big-box store. The same equipment and the same design process apply.
We serve Middle Tennessee and the surrounding communities. If you're outside that radius, call anyway — we'll tell you straight whether we can service you well.
Tell us what's not working — dead WiFi zones, an aging phone system, cameras nobody can pull footage from, or a door that's been rekeyed three times this year. We'll survey the site and send you a straight quote.
Prefer to write it down? Tell us a little about the property and we'll get back to you within one business day.
